After work, I wind down walking along the Han River with my wife and our Labrador Retriever, Bobpul.

Please introduce your team and the work you are in charge of.

As its name suggests, Smart Innovation Team is dedicated to identifying and implementing the most effective strategies for rapidly achieving Global's business objectives, while also enhancing the overall system and operational methods. We are also in the process of digitizing the company's systems to establish a data-driven decision-making system and to generate new value. My current focus in the PI part is on developing and optimizing an application specifically designed for Business Department.

When do you feel rewarded while at work? Tell me about the experience.

It feels most rewarding when the client contacts me first and the issues are resolved. It feels as if a clog has been cleared. Words can't describe how rewarding it can be, to be able to resolve issues after listening to client's requests and thinking about how to reflect business changes to the system.

Explain about your team culture or the team atmosphere?

Our team is comprised of various specialized parts, with each member having distinct, clearly defined roles. While we often work independently, we maintain a collaborative spirit, readily asking for help and relying on each other's expertise when needed. Open communication is a key part of our team dynamic, and we frequently have casual conversations to stay connected and share updates about our lives.

Compare yourself to who you pictured before joining the company(what is the same and how is it different).

It's been two and a half years since I started a new position at Hanwha Global. I am the same person as before, but I tend to think deeper. I feel like I have more control over work now. I am in a different industry, but working with responsibility is the same.

What do you think is the best employee benefit offered by Hanwha Corporation/Global and why?

I think it's the work environment. The first thing that comes to my mind is that you can choose from various types of seats that suit your situation when you go to work at the headquarters, and also you can flexible working scheme. I think the best part of our benefit is being able to take advantage of various options for different work settings and situations such as intensive work mode seats, dual monitor seats, height adjustable desks, and open tables. Because my sitting height is on the taller side, I prefer a height adjustable desk.

Can you advise the future coworkers on what to study and what skills to develop to do this job?

Understanding and interest in technology, problem-solving skills and communication skills are important. You need to have the basic knowledge to understand your company's overall IT system and have a constant interest in new technologies for digital transformation. I hope you obtain skills to quickly resolve issues, to keep up with business changes and enhance communication skills, so that you can grasp the needs of internal and external customers and incorporate them into the system.
